Lego Sorting in Progress

lego_sorting
lego__sorting

So I have this room with alot of lego in it. It becomes increasingly difficult to build anything when it’s all stored in hundreds of different containers. Some mixed up, some sorted by colour, type, sets still in boxes, etc. So now that I have started Sorting I just can’t stop until it’s all done. It can be tedious, but over all it is quite nice to go through it all rediscovering childhood peices and memories. It is well worth it, for after it is all done I can build again !

Drift R/C Madness

Well ever since christmas I have been learning the ins and outs of driftin’ with radio control. I am getting the hang of it, slowly but I must say building and painting the cars is alot of fun too. I now have my Nu Mode branded RX-7 and my brand new Drift Golf GTi. I really wanted a mkII body but they don’t make ‘em anymore – not ones that would fit the TT-01 chassis anyway.

Travel Post #1

Well it has been a while between posts for a good reason – I am currently traveling Indonesia with my wonderful partner and some friends met along the way.

We have just returned to Yogyakarta after attending the Festival Mata Air (Festival of Water) in Salatiga. The festival was really great and I got involved by making a costume and marching in the huge parade promoting recycling, keeping the waterways clean and the festival itself. Also painting some murals and doing a stencil workshop, which was great fun.

Sinners collective

I spent a couple of days with a local graff crew called “The Sinners.” These guys are great artists.

Trucks

This is one of my favorite sculptures ever. Just look at it.
It’s from a burning man festival and I will go there one day.

Pedal ID

Aw these are so cool ! Anybody who knows me well would understand that I love models and Lego and toys in general but these are causing me to totally flip out. I have already pre-ordered a set and some later to be released option parts ; ) Can’t wait !

They are made by Yamato x Pedal Mafia

Artrage 2005

Found some old (and rather low quality) images of the massive projection we did during the Artrage festival of 2005. Big ups to Ian, where ever you are these days. I’m sure there were professional shots of this, I must track them down.
